J&K: Days after 5 military deaths, JCO & soldier dead in counter-terror ops

One Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and a soldier lost their lives in a counter-terrorist operation in Jammu & Kashmir’s Poonch district, the Indian Army said on Friday. Indian Army troops along with the Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police have launched a search operation in this dense forest. They were injured yesterday in the ongoing counter-terrorist operation on Thursday and succumbed to their injuries. 5 Army men had lost their lives in an encounter in Poonch’s Surankote recently.
