J&K: Hizbul commander gunned down in Anantnag; big win for Indian forces

A commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen outfit was killed in an overnight encounter in J&K’s Anantnag. Three soldiers and a civilian were injured during the encounter, a police spokesman said. Nisar Khanday,a commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen, was active for the past few years. The encounter began on Friday evening in the Rishipora area of Anantnag, the cop said. All the injured were immediately airlifted to 92 base hospital Srinagar for treatment. The condition of injured soldiers and the civilian is stable, the police spokesman said.
