Kyiv Under Siege: U.S joins EU, UK to sanction Putin, Lavrov

Russian troops stormed toward Ukraine’s capital early Saturday as explosions reverberated through the city. The United States said it would impose sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, following similar announcements by Britain and the European Union in the wake of Moscow's attack on Ukraine. Zelenskyy was urged to evacuate Kyiv at the behest of the U.S. government but turned down the offer. Watch full video.
