North India facing 3°C frigid winters? 'La Nina' impact explained

North India could witness temperatures as low as 3 degrees Celsius in January & February. Key coal mining regions suffered severe flooding in recent months due to heavy rains. It triggered a squeeze on fuel used to produce about 70% of India’s electricity. India has been already witnessing extreme weather conditions in the past few weeks.
