Prime Minister Narendra Modi floated the idea of 'One Nation, One Police Uniform' at the two-day Chintan Shivir organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Modi urged the states and Union Territories to contemplate the idea of 'One Nation, One Police Uniform.' He added that such a move would help states and UTs on a large scale.
