West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused him of lying to the people of the state. ‘BJP leaders come to Bengal only during elections and spread canards and lies. He is lecturing us on women’s safety. What is the situation of women in BJP-ruled states like Gujarat & Uttar Pradesh?’ Mamata questioned. He also mocked the Prime Minister over the recent naming of a stadium after himself and said that soon a day will come when he will rename the country after himself.
