The struggle for control of the plant between Ukrainian and Russian forces has raised concerns about the possibility of a catastrophic nuclear explosion, posing immense dangers to the surrounding area. Zelensky's warning comes in the backdrop of Ukraine launching its counteroffensive, last month, aimed at retaking occupied territories in the Zaporizhzhia region.
