Texas cop fired for botched response to school shooting that killed 21

After massive outrage against the police over Texas shooting in the US, the Uvalde school district has fired police chief Pete Arredondo. Top cop Pete Arredondo is the first officer to lose his job over the hesitant and fumbled response by police at a Texas elementary school. The outrage against police had erupted after CCTV video showed cops waiting as a gunman killed 19 students and two teachers. After three months of protests, the cop has been deposed in a unanimous vote. The horror that CCTV caught on May 24 showed how cops reached the school just 3 minutes after the gunman entered the classroom at 11.36 AM. However, they waited in the hallway just outside the classroom till 12:50 pm for reinforcements even as the gunman continued to fire at students & teachers. 19 children & two teachers lost their lives in America's worst school shooting.
