Three more IFFI jurors call The Kashmir Files 'vulgar', back Nadav Lapid amid big showdown

The row over "The Kashmir Files" refuses to die down as three other IFFI jury members speak out in support of Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid. In a statement posted on Twitter, Jinko Gotoh, Pascale Chavance, and Javier Angulo Barturen backed Lapid's controversial comment on "The Kashmir Files." The jurors said that Lapid spoke on behalf of the IFFI jury members, and we all stand by the statement calling the film 'vulgar propaganda.' They also said that it was not a political stance on the content, and the politicisation of Lapid's artistic remark during a festival has saddened them. Watch this report for more information.
