‘True 1st responder’: Jaishankar on India’s aid to quake-hit Afghanistan

In the wake of the Afghanistan earthquake, India, as a true first responder, dispatched 27 tons of emergency aid. India delivered the second consignment of relief assistance on Friday to support the people of Afghanistan. MEA informed that the 2nd consignment of India’s earthquake relief assistance has reached Kabul. Taliban thanked India for both the consignments of relief assistance to support the Afghan people. On June 23, MEA informed that the first consignment for the Afghan people had reached Kabul. Commenting on the tweet, EAM S Jaishankar said: ‘India, a true first responder’.
