UNGA Pres heaps praise on India after Jaishankar meet; ‘UNSC must reflect...'

United Nations General Assembly President and Maldivian Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid, who in in New Delhi for a visit, called India 'world's pharmacist' while hailing its efforts to provide vaccines around the globe during COVID-19 pandemic. When asked about permanent seat for India at UNSC, the UNGA President said that the Security Council must reflect the reality of geopolitics of the current world order. He met with External affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday where he hailed India's important role at the UN and called the nation a 'source of pride' for all peace-loving democracies.
