Watch: Rare video of King Cobras mating in Uttarakhand forests

A rare video of two King Cobras mating in the forests of Uttarakhand has surfaced. Uttarakhand forest department captured the video in the forests of Nainital district. Forest officials had been tracking presence of such snakes under a research project. Officials said King Cobras are mostly found in rain forests of South India & Northeast. However, researchers have recorded King Cobra nests in Uttarakhand since 1920s. King Cobra is the national reptile of India & the only snake known to build nests. King Cobra is known to feed primarily on snakes including their own species.
