Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that he envisions 'creating value from waste’. Gadkari said he is planning to use green hydrogen to run buses, trucks and cars in Indian cities. Gadkari added that he has bought a car on a pilot basis that will run on green hydrogen. He said he will drive the car in Delhi so that people believe it's possible to get hydrogen from water. The transport minister was addressing the 6th National Summit 2021 on financial inclusion. Gadkari has been batting for the prospects of green hydrogen as a potential transport fuel. The union minister also talked about other innovative projects that he has been part of. Gadkari added that on one wall of his room, he has got paint made from cow dung.
