WhatsApp encryption enigma: Who's putting your data at risk? Experts answer

WhatsApp claims that its 'end-to-end encryption' policy protects its users' chats, and therefore privacy, and this is at risk due to the Indian government's new Information Technology rules. The regulations require the messaging platform to trace the first originator of a message, if necessary. WhatsApp claims this would break its end-to-endencryption.
