S Vijay Kumar, co-founder of the India Pride Project talks about the main markets for stolen artifacts. “25% of art market is US-based, 26% is UE, bulk of it from the UK,” Kumar said. Kumar said that the major source nations for art crimes are India, Cambodia, Italy, and Egypt while the major sale markets are the UK, European Union and the United States.
