Pilot's showoff ends in a close call, Ka-52 nearly swept its tail into the water

The pilot of a Russian Ka-52 combat reconnaissance & attack chopper intended to put up a show for onlookers. The idea nearly ended in a disaster, the incident ended up being a close shave for both civilians & the chopper crew. 2 Ka-52s were flying at a low altitude above a reservoir in Alchevsk city (so-called Luhansk People's Republic). The Russian pilot saw people on the ground recording & decided to show off the chopper's features. Lead chopper maneuvered out of position; pilot wanted to show the famed sideways flying abilities of the Ka-52. When approaching the shore, the Ka-52 shook vigorously - at one point, the tail nearly swept into the water. The attack helicopter was just a feet above the water, seemingly close to being out of control.
