Putin ‘punishes’ Finland for eyeing NATO seat; Russia suspends power supply

Amid growing int'l tensions, Russia cut off power to Finland; the cutoff started at 1AM local time. Russia's decision came after Finnish leaders declared the Nordic nation must apply to join NATO 'without delay'. However, the Russian state-run power utility cited 'payment issues' behind the move to halt the power supply. Finland also been moving to end imports of Russian coal, gas and oil.
