Russia Forces smash S-300 missile system, Ukraine bid to thwart attack fails

Putin's men destroyed launchers of the Ukrainian S-300 surface-to-air missile system. A Russian drone destroyed the S-300, designed by the Soviet union in the 1960s & 70s. Ukrainian Armed Forces fired a missile at the Russian Lancet Zala drone, but failed. The S-300 engages aircraft, provides some cruise & ballistic missile defense capability. The S-300 system warhead: 133 KG (5V55) or 143 KG (48N6) high-explosive fragmentation.
