Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh criticised the security restrictions in Delhi ahead of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar. Singh alleged that the entire country had been turned into a “cantonment to protect one person” and claimed that Delhi had been shut down, with trains arriving in the capital reportedly stopped. Comparing the situation to the Emergency, he said the AAP would support the CJP’s protest despite any action taken against participants. Singh also said that Arvind Kejriwal had appealed to party members to reach Jantar Mantar and join the demonstration.
