Sergio Gor, US Indo-Pacific commander visit Indian Army's Western Command HQ, briefed on Op Sindoor

U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gor and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command chief Admiral Samuel J. Paparo visited the Indian Army’s Western Command headquarters on Feb 16 and held talks with Western Army Commander Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar on regional security and “joint efforts” for a safe Indo-Pacific, the Army’s Western Command said. During the engagement, the U.S. officials were briefed on strategic security dynamics along India’s western front and operational preparedness, with Operation Sindoor’s legacy and execution also discussed, as per the readout and Gor’s post.
