Union Minister Smriti Irani hinted that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest in the alleged liquor scam is a matter of time. “There is no guarantee on how long he (Kejriwal) will stay out of jail,” Irani said at a BJP event in Delhi. Notably, AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh are already in jail in the alleged liquor scam. Kejriwal was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in November 2023, but the Delhi CM ignored the questioning, calling the summons “illegal and politically motivated”.
