2010 Games delegation inspects venue, pace of work

Amid rising concerns over New Delhi's preparedness, Commonwealth team visited the city to take stock of the preparations. Led by Mike Fennell, President of the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF), the team visited the Games village in the city to monitor the progress. Fennell had written to organisers last month expressing his concern at their reluctance to hire foreign experts and the delayed progress of work.
