Matthew Hayden was all praises for Indian captain Anil Kumble and called him an unusual bowler and champion cricketer after the opening day of the first Test being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. After a splendid performance by the Indian bowlers on December 26, Hayden said that the spinners did a good job. However, the Indian batsmen could not carry the legacy forward and the Indian team bundled out for 196 on the second day of the first Test.
