Kapil denies rivalry between ICL and IPL

Former Indian skipper Kapil Dev, who is heading the ICL, has denied any rivalry with the Board of Control for Cricket in India-backed Indian Premier League. The BCCI does not recognize the ICL, which also does not have the backing of the International Cricket Council. Players who have signed up with the ICL have been banned from playing first class cricket or any other BCCI-sponsored match or tournament.
