Lack of unity among Indian players: Deepak Thakur

Two-time Olympian Deepak Thakur feels the Indian hockey team were not united in their fight to play in the cash rich WSH series as they constantly were under pressure from the federation. Hockey India was not keen on sending the Indian team to this league since it was being hosted by IHF. Speaking exclusively to NNIS Sports, the 31-year-old Hoshiarpur-born forward, also hit out at HI for the manner in which they have gone about it to make sure that players selected for the proposed national camp do not take part in the World Series Hockey.
