Siblings in CWG

In a country where sports is not a preferred profession there are families which have a sporting tradition and bring laurels to the nation. Two sets of Siblings made India proud in the Delhi edition of the CWGWrestler Geeta Kumari won a Gold and her sister Babita Kumari won a Silver in women's wrestling. Hailing from a rural family in Bhiwani their first inspiration was their father Mahavir Singh , a former wrestler. He built a mud Akhara in their home and would train them himself. Babita claims that their sisters Priyanka, Ritu and Vinish will burst on to the scene soon.Siblings Dola and Rahul Bannerjee have also made the country proud. Both of them have won Gold medals for India in Archery. And there is coincidence in their medal category as well. While Doal won a gold in the team event and Bronze in the individual event, Rahul won a Gold in the individual and Bronze in the team event.(It's a hindustantimes.com & newzstreet TV presentation)
