Tokyo Paralympic gold medallists Avani, Krishna thank PM Modi for his support

Indian Paralympic medalists Avani Lekhara & Krishna Nagar thanked PM Modi for his support. 19-year-old Avani won gold and bronze medals in shooting at the Tokyo Paralympics. “I will now focus on mending the mistakes that I had made during my performance. I want to keep making India proud; I thank PM Modi for supporting us. He interacted with us before we left for Tokyo, he congratulated us after we won medals,” she said. Shuttler Krishna, who won a gold medal, was short of words to express his happiness. “I am short of words to express my happiness, don't know what to tell him when we meet. I want to thank the people of India and the government for so much support.” On Tuesday, PM Modi said Olympians & Paralympians will visit 75 schools & inspire youth. The Prime Minister will soon meet all Paralympic medal winners & celebrate their achievements.
