‘We’d like to end on a winning note’, says Rahane on the eve of India-England fifth Test

India will face England in their fifth and final Test of the series at The Oval in London on 7th September. The hosts claimed the series victory 3-1 with a fourth Test win in Southampton on 2nd September. After a tense 31-run win for England in the first Test at Edgbaston, world number one side India were thrashed by an innings and 159 runs at Lord's before beating Joe Root's side by 203 runs at Trent Bridge. But despite losing the Test series, Ajinkya Rahane insisted that his side will go into Saturday's match looking for a win. “Every Test match is equally important, yes it is 3-1 but we definitely want to give our best and finish on a winning note.” said the 30-year-old vice captain.
