Sri Lanka gets new Cabinet amid 'Go, Gota Go!' chants; IMF talks first big task

A new Cabinet of 17 ministers appointed by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa - elder brother & Prime Minister the only family member to retain position. The earlier Cabinet resigned en masse in the first week of this month - all 26 Sri Lankan ministers aside from the President & the Prime Minister stepped down. The previous Cabinet had to make way for a unity Cabinet with opposition members. However, the idea fizzled due to a lack of political consensus.
