Trump hiding behind empty war threats as Iran torches every US demand, sends envoys empty-handed?

Indirect nuclear talks in Geneva have exposed a widening gulf between Donald Trump and Tehran, with The Wall Street Journal reporting that Iran rejected sweeping U.S. demands to dismantle Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, ship out its enriched uranium stockpile, and accept zero enrichment indefinitely. While U.S. envoys pushed for a tougher, permanent deal beyond the old Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action framework, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi described the negotiations as showing “serious progress.” With U.S. forces massed in the region and Trump warning of possible military action, diplomacy now hangs between maximalist demands and the risk of rapid escalation.
