U.S. Military Plane Crashes In Middle East After Hezbollah Warning; Five Troops Killed

Five American troops were killed after a United States military plane crashed over the Mediterranean Sea. The crash occurred during a “routine air refueling mission as part of a military training”, said the United States European Command in a statement. While there is no indication of any foul play, the U.S. military has come under increased attacks in the Middle East since the start of the latest Israel-Palestine war in Gaza. Notably, Hezbollah chief Nasrallah had even threatened the United States of attacking its naval fleet in the Mediterranean.
