US President Joe Biden has approved a whopping $450 million deal to Pakistan for the sustainment of its F-16 fighter jet fleet. The US said that the deal will help sustain Islamabad's capability to meet current & future counterterrorism threats. The deal, however, doesn't include any new weapons, munitions, or new capabilities. This is the first time since 2018 when the US announced major security assistance to Pakistan. In 2018, then US President Donald Trump stopped all defence and security assistance to Pakistan alleging that they were not a partner in its fight against terrorism. Watch this video to know more.
