Watch: Moments before Russian forces captured Europe’s largest nuclear plant

On day 9 of Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, his forces seized Europe's biggest nuclear power plant in Ukraine. The Ukrainian nuclear inspectorate has said that the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is occupied by the armed forces of the Russian Federation hours after they attacked the plant. Videos of fire breaking out at the plant during overnight clashes shook the world. It was later brought under control. US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said the reactors at Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station are protected by robust containment structures and reactors are being safely shut down. Ukraine minister Dmytro Kuleba gave a dire warning that the fire was 10 times worse than Chernobyl. Watch this video for more details.
