‘Weak CM’: Watch Sidhu ‘sulk’ after Channi’s revelation; Takes a dig at Gandhis

The infighting within Punjab Congress has now taken a fresh turn. A day after Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi announced that the Chief Ministerial face of Congress for upcoming Punjab assembly polls will be announced on February 6, state Congress Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu has now taken a dig at the high command. Mocking the people at the top, Sidhu claimed that the Gandhis wanted a weak CM in Punjab who would dance to their tunes. Channi and Sidhu are the top 2 contenders for the CM post in an internal survey being held by Congress. Sidhu's attack also comes after the former Punjab Congress chief backed Channi for the Chief Minister post. Punjab will vote on February 20 and the results will be announced on March 10.
