After the end of three-day 'Chintan Shivir' of farmers at Parade Ground, Bhartiya Kisan Union Leader Rakesh Tikait has announced that his organisation won't support anyone in the upcoming assembly elections. Tikait's statement comes just a day after his brother and BKU president - Naresh Tikait made a u-turn on supporting the SP-RLD alliance. Rakesh Tikait claimed that his brother's words were misread. Naresh Tikait withdrew support to the alliance, allegedly after a meeting with BJP leader Sanjeev Balyan in Sisauli. “If someone comes to your house, you do say ‘we are with you’. It does not mean that we will vote for them.” Rakesh Tikait said. He also added that Yogi Adityanath “must win elections (from Gorakhpur) as we need a strong opposition in the state”. So the big question is - What is the reason that the Tikaits changed their stance and who are they backing in UP polls? Watch for more details
