After NATO, pro-Putin EU nation now voices war fear over UK-France's 'send troops to Ukraine' move

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto and Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini criticised European leaders over plans that could escalate the Russia-Ukraine war, after Britain and France signalled willingness to deploy troops as part of post-ceasefire security guarantees. Speaking at Hungary’s Fidesz congress and in a virtual address, both leaders warned that sending troops risks dragging Europe into a wider conflict and accused Brussels of “war fanaticism,” calling instead for peace, national sovereignty, and restraint.
