Rallies against the release of a Christian woman from prison
Hundreds of members of the student wing of an Islamist party marched along the streets of Karachi on Thursday. They protested against the release order of Asia Bibi, a Christian woman acquitted in Pakistan after eight years on death row for blasphemy. The charge of blasphemy carries the death penalty in Pakistan.
