Biden double dares Kim over nukes; U.S. sends B-52 bombers as North Korea tests spy satellite

The U.S. flew its nuclear-capable B-52 strategic bombers and F-22 stealth fighter jets near South Korea in a massive show of force against North Korea. South Korean warplanes F-35A and F-15K also participated in the joint air drills that took place in South Korea's Air Defense Identification Zone southwest of its southern island of Jeju. The drills came after North Korea launched a pair of ballistic missiles on Sunday. Pyongyang claimed it was a test for the development of its first military spy satellite. Tensions are high in the Korean Peninsula as Pyongyang has test-fired 60 missiles, including intercontinental ballistic missiles, so far this year.
