Even as the Israel-Hamas war intensifies, US President Joe Biden's Democratic party blocked an emergency aid bill for Israel in the US Senate. The bill was brought in by the Republicans. However, it excluded Ukraine. The Democrats argued that the Republicans must support Biden's plan for giving support to both Israel and Ukraine, as well as allocating funds for countering China in the Indo-Pacific.
