'Brazil Crossed Red Line': Netanyahu Breathes Fire, Hamas Praises Lula For Comparing Israel To Nazis

Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has incensed Israel with his recent remarks on the Gaza war. Lula accused Israel of committing "genocide" against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip and compared its actions to Adolf Hitler's campaign to exterminate Jews. Benjamin Netanyahu said the comparison makes Brazil cross the red line and that Lula was trivialising the Holocaust. Israel also summoned a Brazilian envoy to issue a reprimand.
