Israel agreed to an Egyptian proposed truce with Palestinian terrorists in Gaza after three days of intense conflict. The 'fragile' truce is holding currently but reportedly, 8 minutes after the ceasefire was announced, rockets were fired towards southern Israel. The deadly conflict has left 44 Palestinians, including 15 children dead so far. Since Friday, Israel has carried out heavy aerial and artillery bombardment of Palestinian Islamic Jihad positions in Gaza, with the militants firing hundreds of rockets in retaliation.
