The U.S. Navy swung into action as Houthi rebels targeted ships in the Red Sea. In 24 hours, the Iran-backed rebels launched missile attacks on American merchant ship and destroyer USS Gravely. While the U.S. claimed that both missiles were shot down, the Houthis said that there were direct hits on both ships. Merchant ship Koi was reportedly enroute Israel when it was attacked in the Red Sea. Meanwhile, CNN reported that hours before the attack on Koi, a Houthi missile narrowly missed USS Gravely in first such close encounter. In response, the U.S. destroyed 10 prepared-to-launch drones in Yemen. The Houthis have warned that U.S., and UK ships in the Red Sea were legitimate targets since their 'foolish' attacks on Yemen. Watch for more details.
