Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has reportedly instructed his government to consider renaming Russia. The move comes after a petition calling for the same saying that the word ‘Russia’ endorses the claim that Russia is a direct descendant of Kievan Rus. Responding to the move, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called it 'further evidence of an attempt to create 'anti-Russia' out of Ukraine.'
