Russia's 'friend' Turkey calls tanks aid to Ukraine 'high risk' | 'Will fail to...' declares Erdogan

The Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has sounded an alarm for the western powers who are sending battle tanks to Ukraine amid the war with Russia. Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the western tank supply to Kyiv a "high-risk move." The Turkish President also declared that "these tanks won't help to end conflict." Erdogan's warning came after the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany announced the deployment of tanks to Kyiv. After Berlin's nod, Poland and several other countries that possess German-developed Leopards are also ready for tank deliveries. The Russian Embassy in Berlin called Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s "extremely dangerous decision" a trigger for conflict escalation. The Turkish President, who has also slammed the West, said he will continue talks with both Russia and Ukraine in an effort to find a negotiated settlement.
