‘Scared of Xi?’: Cong, TMC, MIM target PM Modi after India abstains from UN vote

Opposition parties have criticized the Modi govt after India at UNHRC decided to abstain from voting on a draft resolution to debate China's human rights abuses in Xinjiang province. The proposal was to debate the reported abuses against China's ethnic minorities - the Uyghur Muslims. Congress, TMC, AIMIM questioned the central govt's decision and questioned why India was not holding China accountable for the human rights abuses.
