Iran's special envoy to Afghanistan and head of its embassy in Kabul issued a big warning. Hassan Kazemi Qomi reportedly said that Taliban are part of Iran's 'Axis of Resistance'. Between 1996-2001, Taliban and Iran were staunch foes, but later they buried the hatchet. Taliban fighters are staunch backers of Palestinian resistance groups such as Hamas.
