‘Amateurish’: US Congressman slams Trump’s statement on Kashmir

US Congressman Brad Sherman criticised US President Donald Trump's statement on the Kashmir issue. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would never suggest third-party mediation on Kashmir. Trump met Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and offered to play mediator on the Kashmir issue. He claimed that PM Modi too sought his help with the issue. India, however, denied that PM Modi made a request for Trump to play a role.
