Watch | Supermoon appears in Australia

The largest, brightest full moon, or 'supermoon' in nearly seven decades was on display in Sydney today, darting in and out from behind the clouds. Astronomers have said the full moon last came that close to Earth in 1948. A supermoon occurs when the timing of a full moon overlaps with the point in the moon's 28-day orbit that is closest to Earth.
