40 Indian workers kidnapped in Iraq: MEA

Forty Indian employees stranded in violence-hit Iraq were confirmed to have been abducted, spokesperson of the external affairs ministry Syed Akbaruddin said on Wednesday. The abducted people, he said, were largely from northern parts of India.
