Bangladesh honours President Pranab Mukherjee

Bangladesh President Zillur Rahman conferred the country's second highest civilian award on his Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee on Monday for his valuable contribution to the country's liberation war in 1971. Rahman gave a crest of Bangladesh Muktijuddho Sanmanona (Liberation War Award) to Mukherjee, at a glittering ceremony at the Presidential Palace.
